Technology; phones, apps, iPads, Kindle, computer, movies, Netflix, video games, social media, phones.....finding it hard to keep up on all the new technology and what tweens and teens are using?
Visit Common Sense Media to explore movies, games, TV shows, books, apps, websites, and music reviews.
This site offers a wealth of information. I especially like the "app" section that shows icons and describes apps that kids are using. There are many apps available that are not positive for students. Certain ones are anonymous and promote gossip, objectification, inappropriate/hateful conversations, crude comments, bullying, etc. Please check it out and know what your child has on their devices.
